our winter camp

hi to every one, and thak you for being a part of this thank you to all those who shared their comments, highly appreciated.

well wew did it again, we had an amaizing camp where we learnt so much and where given the oppotunity to also help each other. we had work shops on relvent issues and also had a great teambuilding session that was hosted by my self and the beautill mis Pumza Samente, we had the horner of geeting a vissit form Sis Flora who thought us so much and share so much with us and she will never be forgoten in our faces. and surely would love to thaank the beautifull and talented Miss Megan and great Mr Mfundo they are such an inspiration to us and we love then more as each day come.

to miss Lisa aquino thank to you for making sure that some things are possible to do and by bieng on our side, i must thank the foundation and the staff for all the support mostly to kate.

and last but not least the great Dr Linda Gail B. for making this hapen for this creation and the support she has given u.

me as a future fighter

hi my name is wendy i've been a future figher for years and must say it has been the most amaizing expirience ever, talking to other young people around my community and sharing my views about HIV and how it affects us all has just been amaizing.

to every cab member in the world, i just wanna say keep up the good work and don't get tired of doing the great job. cape town is on it's toes with excitement because all the things that have been happening, starting from events to conferences.
to be a F.F is great

about us

we are a group of individuals from different backgrounds,from different schools,with the same dream. that dream is to grow up in an hiv free generation.
we were not born during apartheid we dont know how it felt to be arrested & inhale teargas. but we do know how it feels to be imprisoned in your own community & not be able to share your status without being rediculed we do know how it feels to have to inhale the smell of death around you. funerals every weekend becouse people have been ignorant & not protect themselves.
what we do wanna see is a difference & who else can bring a differnce other than the youth ,the people who are young & have drive & ambition.
yes the future fighters are sick & tired of this virus & we have been quiet long enough no more will we stand aside & watch people dying we will make a difference.

hi this is pumza samente. i have been a future fighter since 2004. i decided to be part of this group becouse i wanted to do something for my community i did not want to be one of those people who complained about hiv & did nothing i wanted to be informed about whats going on in the country & not say the government is not working whereas i didn't know i wanted to be part of the change.

i can now do that & i love being a future fighter to bits.
to some its just a small group but to me its something huge. something to call my own i wish it could be a world wide group.
